1. The current website
Dad Advice is a website created by Glen Evans. It offers general educational content and previews of planned books and Daily Dad Texts. It currently has no email waitlist, contact submission form, accounts, SMS enrollment, or checkout. The application does not currently collect email addresses, phone numbers, payment details, or submitted messages.
2. Hosting, fonts, and technical information
The hosting and delivery providers may process ordinary technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, request times, and security logs to deliver and protect this website. Fonts are loaded through Google Fonts; your browser sends technical information, including your IP address, to that provider when fetching fonts. This application does not add advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Hosting-level cookies, telemetry, providers, retention, and regional processing must be verified before final publication.
3. If interest capture or subscriptions are introduced
Before any collection opens, this policy will be updated to explain what information is collected, why, the providers that process it, how long it is retained, and how you can request access, correction, or deletion. Email interest and SMS consent will be separate choices. Gift recipients will need to personally opt in to messages.
4. Proposed SMS privacy commitment
Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in records, and consent information will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. Limited processing by service providers supporting delivery, compliance, and security may be necessary. Final provider practices and contracts must be confirmed before launch.
5. Security and retention
Future personal information should be restricted to authorized access and retained only for a defined operational or legal purpose. Required consent and suppression records may need to be retained after cancellation so that opt-outs are respected. Specific retention periods have not yet been adopted; no system can promise absolute security.
6. Children and younger visitors
The proposed subscription is intended for adults aged 18 or older. No enrollment for minors is currently available. Requirements for any future youth-facing collection must be separately assessed before implementation.
