This disclosure describes the current preview and proposed launch practices. Glen must confirm the operator’s legal name, verified support contact, applicable jurisdictions, and final service details, and obtain appropriate legal review before enrollment or sales begin.
1. SMS is not active
Daily Dad Texts is a planned service. This website does not collect phone numbers, record consent, enroll recipients, or send SMS. Viewing this page is not consent. The following is a draft for the future opt-in flow and must be reviewed before use.
2. Proposed opt-in wording
This text is not an active checkbox or enrollment mechanism. The final sender, schedule, supported locations, support contact, applicable costs, and consent wording must be disclosed next to an unchecked, affirmative consent control.
3. Consent must come from the recipient
A purchaser cannot enroll another person simply by buying a gift or entering their number. Each recipient must personally and affirmatively opt in. Proposed records include the exact consent text and version, time, source, number, confirmation, and later withdrawal. Confirmation and carrier requirements must be implemented before any automated messages.
4. Opting out and getting help
Once the service is active, reply STOP to stop messages or HELP for assistance. Only a required opt-out confirmation may follow a STOP request. No further advice messages should be sent unless you expressly re-enroll. A verified alternative support channel must be available. Canceling SMS delivery and canceling a paid subscription are separate processes; billing cancellation terms must be plainly disclosed before payment.
5. Charges, delivery, and eligibility
Message and data rates may apply through your carrier. Service pricing is not yet set. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported regions, delivery windows, sender registration, and adult eligibility must be confirmed at launch.
6. Privacy and purpose
SMS opt-in data and consent records will not be sold or shared for third-party marketing. Necessary providers may process data to deliver and secure the service. Messages are general education and encouragement, not professional advice or emergency support. Read the privacy draft and terms draft.
7. Before any messages are sent
- Review disclosures and supply a verified sender and support contact.
- Configure Twilio, required sender/carrier registrations, and fraud protections.
- Implement explicit consent, confirmation, STOP/HELP, suppression, and privacy controls.
- Obtain Glen’s express authorization and test with consenting recipients.
